Board’s Annual Report on Social Security, Medicare Yet To Be Released

July 9, 2010 — Just where is the Annual Report of
the Social Security Board of Trustees wonders
David Freddoso of The Washington Examiner, citing
Peter Ferrara at Investors Business Daily, who is
questioning the reasoning behind the delayed release
of the report.
“The report includes information regarding Medicare over the next 75 years. Is the Obama administration is trying to hide sweeping draconian cuts to Medicare — the result of recently passed health care reform legislation.”
“Ferrara also notes, it would be very disingenuous for the administration to promise beneficiaries that they won’t lose anything, but then make plans to underpay providers so that hospitals and doctors won’t treat them.” Continue reading…
