Donors Giving to Charities That Use Their Dollars Wisely
December 17, 2009 — “Wasteful charities, beware the savvy donor: In a down economy, people giving away money are keeping a closer eye on where it winds up,” reports Alan Suderman in the Washington Examiner.
“Paul Darby, president of the Coats for Kids foundation, said one of the first requests he gets from potential donors is a copy of the group’s latest tax return.”
