GM to Close Down Saab

December 18, 2009 –
“After months of uncertainty, GM has finally come with its decision: Saab will be shut down. The reaction in Sweden was immediate,” reports Swedish Radio International.

“Håkan Johansson, who constructs car bodies at Saab in Trollhättan, was crushed by the news. ‘This isn’t a good Christmas present. It really feels bloody horrible, to be frank’.” Continue reading…
