Sale of Cut-Price Alcohol in English Supermarkets May Be Subjected to Restrictions

December 24, 2009 — “The Oldham council could become the first local authority in England to place restrictions on the sale of alcohol in supermarkets, following similar legislation in Scotland,” reports Matthew Moore in The Daily Telegraph (UK).
